Celebrity Status!

Hi Guys

You might be interested this - found on a Web sit previewing the Earthquake Invitational (http://www.prepcaltrack.com/2012/10/04/earthquake-inv-ccs-meet-preview-madera-south-to-take-on-powerhouse-team-from-new-zealand/)

By far, the longest trek and the most anticipated squad are the boys from Auckland Grammar School in New Zealand!!! They bring 28 guys as part of a California/Hawaii tour and bring with them a great tradition! More on that later!!...

Although Madera South has been racking up the miles, Auckland Grammar (New Zealand) wins hands down on the travelling and may steal the show!! This crew didn’t fly almost 7,000 miles to just show-up! Meet spectators will be in for a treat as this tradition rich team brings 28 guys with a competitive squad. Years ago this team made a great showing at a local scrimmage meet and showed the local teams what it’s all about with their traditional dance and motivational chants. They have won the last 3 NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL TITLES for 3 man and 6 man teams!! We’ll see how they match up with one of California’s best!”

Sounds as if it was a great effort in trying conditions, well done! I must say Tom, top marks for inventive tactics to score with the girls, Will would be proud!! You may not have done yourself any favours as Mr Skeen’s informant tho, you know what they say – “What goes round comes round!”

Enjoy the rest of your San Francisco experience

Love
